Description

In order to handle rapid growth in the demand for large computers, Mitsubishi Electric manufactured this MELCOM 7000 Series through a technical tie-up with Xerox Data Systems in U.S. Announced in 1970, this series operated under the BPM operating system, and featured simultaneous support for four types of processing -- batch processing, time-sharing processing, real-time processing and remote batch processing.
