Aaron Sylvan builds and directs software organizations. He leads technically demanding projects, represents owners and investors in overseeing outside development teams, resolves accumulated technical debt, and restores delivery where it has broken down. Depending on the engagement he sets technical direction, manages an agency, recruits engineers, or writes production code himself. Specialty in Enterprise SaaS and migration to/from Cloud.

For 8 years he served as CEO/CTO of One Technology, an Operations Research company that utilized Artificial Life to solve complex business problems, based on algorithms of his own creation. Then for another 8 years he served as CTO for the Family Office of the founder of the world's largest IT Advisory firm (Gartner).

Founded three software companies (One Technology, TrustWorks, LONO Audio) that raised 7 rounds of investment capital. Built dozens of native, web, and multi-tenant SaaS/Cloud applications across 30 years of software development and 20 years directing engineering work. Hired >100 engineers. Deployed sales strategies, teams, and Salesforce CRMs. Authored business literature including value propositions, employee benefits, investor/partner agreements, and stock option plans. Managed fully remote international teams across more than 48 projects, with budgets from $100,000 to $5 million.

From 2014 to 2025, producer of 95 TED Talks as licensee at TEDxFultonStreet and volunteer at TEDxYouth@HCCS. Creator of exclusive DRAM conference series about digital aesthetics.

Executive MBA from IMD; BA from Bennington College. Active member of New York Angels since 2025. Performs Technical Due Diligence for Angels, VCs, PE, and M&A, on companies valued from seed stage to $2 billion.
