InterPARES Project

InterPARES (International Research on Permanent Authentic Records in Electronic Systems) is a multinational research project based at the School of Library, Archival and Information Studies at the University of British Columbia, directed by Dr. Luciana Duranti. It develops knowledge for the long-term preservation of authentic digital records, informing standards, policies, and strategies to ensure their longevity and trustworthiness. The site hosts findings and products from the project's multiple phases, including a fourth phase focused on records entrusted to the Internet.
