James (Jim) J. Thomas

Considered by many computer scientists to be a visionary and inspiring research and development (R&D) leader in the field of visualization and computer graphics, Thomas was internationally recognized for his contributions to the field. Professionally, he was a Laboratory Fellow at the Department of Energy (DOE)'s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
