About Me
Aaron Sylvan is Chair of the IT History Society, where he leads the modernization of its online collections. A technologist and entrepreneur, he founded two software companies that together raised seven rounds of investment capital, served eight years as CEO/CTO of One Technology, an operations-research firm built on his own artificial-life algorithms, and eight years as CTO for the family office of Gartner's founder. Today he advises small-cap technology companies and performs technical due diligence for Venture Capital and Private Equity investors. He holds an MBA from IMD and a BA in digital music from Bennington College, and has produced 95 TED Talks as licensee of TEDxFultonStreet. He is an active member of the New York Angels.
