Description

Credited with helping develop the first commercially viable digital signal processor at Texas Instruments, Gass was an American engineer and philanthropist whose work shaped a foundational technology in modern computing. She was also an advocate for girls and young women pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
